1) How can I purchase The Star Card in Singapore?
You can purchase The Star Card at any Carl's Jr outlets in Singapore.
2) Where are the Carl's Jr outlets located in Singapore?
The outlets are located at Marina Square, Plaza Singapura, Vivo City, Tampines One, Jurong Point, Big Splash, Parkway Parade, Nex @ Serangoon Central and soon at Changi Terminal 3.
3) What can I purchase using The Star Card?
The Star Card is a stored value card that can be used to purchase any food items in our store and doubles up as a loyalty card that can be redeemed for purchases.
4) What are the benefits of using The Star Card?
The Star Card offers you greater convenience. With one quick swipe, you can purchase anything at any of the Carl's Jr outlets and you can at the same time, accumulate star points for every dollar spent. You can use your star points to redeem food items ranging from drinks to burgers depending on the star points accumulated.
Upon activation of your card via www.carlsjr.com.sg, you
a) enjoy $10 e-dollars to purchase any Carl's Jr item
b) can redeem a free Guacamole Bacon OR Chilli Cheeseburger Combo OR a Charbroiled Chicken Club Sandwich Combo worth up to $12.10.
c) will receive a $10 e-voucher redeemable each year on your birthday month. (2 years of $10 e-voucher entitlement)
d) collect one Star Point for every dollar spent on The Star Card
e) obtain an automatic renewal of The Star Card with a $500 minimum spend accumulated over a period of 2 years
f) enjoy exclusive promotions, discounts and invitations to product launches and preview

5) What are the modes of redemption?
Cardholders are able to exchange their Star Points for items on the Redemption Menu via their online account or over the counters at the outlets. When cardholders exchange their points online, their items are converted to e-vouchers which are stored in their card. Cardholders will proceed to outlets to claim their items. Staffs are able to see this e-voucher under the "Voucher" options in the terminal.
6) Where can cardholders find more information about the Carl's Jr Rewards Program?
More information can be found on www.carlsjr.com.sg. Cardholders will have to register their card online first.
7) How can I find out the balance on The Star Card?
You can check the balance of The Star Card at any of our Carl's Jr stores in Singapore from our crew at the payment counter or by logging on to: http://www.carlsjr.com.sg
8) How do I register my card?
With your Card, just log on to http://www.carlsjr.com.sg and simply follow the instructions.
9) Why should I register The Star Card?
a) Registering of the card online allows the Administrator to verify that you are the card owner. The administrator can proceed to prevent any unauthorized usage on the card resulting from a loss report. This prevent any fraudulent usage.
b) Registering The Star Card online provides the administrator their personal particulars which the birthday voucher needs to be activated and embedded into the user's card account for their use during their birthday month. Without such information, administrator is unable to issue and credit the birthday voucher into their card account. All customers' particulars and information will be kept confidentiality by Carl's Jr Singapore.
10) What is the membership hotline for consumers to call?
The membership hotline for consumers to call is 8183 4328, which is managed by Butterfly Global. This line is in operation from Monday to Friday, 9am - 9pm. This number can be found on the back of each Carl's Jr card.
11) What should you do if you lost/misplaced your cards?
You can contact the Butterfly (Hotline: 8183 4328 or Email: contact@butterfly.sg) immediately to inform the administrator to stop all further transactions on the lost card. Administrator will check and inform you of the remaining value within the card and stop any transactions on the card only after they have received the notice.
Carl's Jr/Butterfly Global will not be responsible for any value used by unauthorized persons after card has been lost / misplaced. Such value will not be replaced or re-issued back to the card.
12) Is there an expiry date on my Card?
You will enjoy auto renewal of your membership card when you spend $500 accumulated for a period of 2 years. If there is no accumulated spending of $500, the card will only be valid for 2 years upon initial activation or use.
13) Can I make partial payment with The Star Card?
Yes, you can split payment on a transaction using The Star Card and any other form of payment that is accepted at our Carl's Jr outlets.
14) Can I update my personal particulars on The Star Card?
Yes, you can view or update your personal particulars by visiting http://www.carlsjr.com.sg.
15) Can I purchase The Star Card in Singapore and use it in another country?
The Star Card is valid for use at all Carl's Jr stores in Singapore only.
Terminal & Loyalty Program FAQs:
1. Who should I contact if I require assistance on the Loyalty Program?
Kindly contact Butterfly Global. The hotline for enquiries on the Loyalty Program is 8183 4328. This line is in operation from Monday to Friday, 9am - 9pm. This number can be found on each Carl's Jr card.
2. Why is the terminal not working properly?
There could be a number of factors that can cause that the terminal to not work.
a) Check if phone line is connected correctly and tightly to the terminal. Loosen phone lines can cause disruption to the connectivity of the terminal to the back-end server.
b) If the terminal is not responding or processing, try pressing the "Enter" button once. If it doesn't respond, press "Cancel" and re-swipe /re-key the transaction again.
c) Terminal could take a while when "Processing" as the network could be busy at a particular period of the day, eg. Lunch/dinner time. If "Time-out" occurs, re-key in the transaction again.
d) If all the above fails, please contact Card Techno, 24-hr service line, 6275 8578.
e) If the customer already makes purchases, we can keep the customer receipts and credit the points back into their account within 5 working days. Users can login to http://www.carlsjr.com.sg to check on the status.
3. Why is the terminal/machine taking a long time to process each transaction?
a) If the terminal is not responding or processing, try pressing the "Enter" button once. If it doesn't respond, press "Cancel" and re-swipe /re-key the transaction again.
b) Terminal could take a while when "Processing" as the network could be busy at a particular period of the day, eg. Lunch/dinner time. If "Time-out" occurs, re-key in the transaction again.
4. What are the steps in operating the terminal?
Kindly refer to the User Manual provided to all outlets.
5. There are 2 modes of redemption made available to cardholders. What are they and how differently should I operate the terminal for these redemptions.
The first, and more straight-forward, type of redemption is when a cardholder produces his/her card to exchange his/her current Star Points for eligible items. Select "Point RDM" and his/her points balance will be shown. Only the eligible items will be shown for redemption. Proceed to redeem.
The second kind of redemption, which is also available to cardholders, is going through the online portal, then to the counter. Cardholders are able to convert their Star Points to items online via the Rewards Portal. When this happens, the redeemed item will appear as an e-voucher and is then embedded into their card. They will have to proceed to the counter to claim for this item. You will have to select "Voucher" to view the item(s) that was embedded as e-voucher. There is no need to deduct any Star Points on your end for this kind of redemption.
6. Who should I contact if the terminal/machine is faulty or not working properly?
